Florida Personal Injury Firms Switch Gears with New Active Out-of-Home Advertising Strategy

September 14, 2021—In the fiercely competitive world of personal injury law, more and more firms throughout the Sunshine State are shifting their efforts and marketing dollars to a new, and decidedly more active, form of Out of Home advertising.

In just the past year, more than 40 personal injury firms across the country—including many in Florida—have partnered with Carvertise, the national rideshare-based transit advertising company, to get their brand directly in front of their target audience in a unique and memorable way.

“Traditionally, personal injury firms have focused their marketing efforts on passive OOH, such as billboards, buses and taxis,” says Greg Star, Co-Founder of Carvertise. “Now, as they’re becoming aware of Carvertise’s platform, they’re seizing the opportunity to leverage OOH in a much more active way. And many firms in Florida are leading the charge.”

By partnering with Carvertise, PI firms are able to wrap fleets of Uber and Lyft vehicles with their logos and marketing messages and deploy them throughout their target markets.

A benefit to this active platform is that the firms can send their wrapped fleet to specific locations, such as construction sites, hospitals, Amazon distribution centers or anywhere they want to target potential clients.

Some of the early adopters in the personal injury field include notable Florida-based firms, including the Law Offices of Amanda Demanda in Miami, Tollinchi Law in Miramar; and Pardy & Rodriguez in Orlando.

A representative from the Amanda Demanda Law Group, which has deployed wrapped vehicles throughout Miami-Dade County, noted that the firm is always looking to interact with the community. “Carvertise has been the perfect opportunity to do just that,” the spokesperson said. “Feedback has been amazing. Our clients love seeing us throughout the city and sharing pictures with us.It really allows us to interact with the community.”

Star notes that currently, Carvertise has more than 1,000 rideshare vehicles on the road on behalf of its personal injury clients. “Each firm has a slightly different strategy, different target areas, and different audiences, but Carvertise is able to get their brand directly in front of their target audience,” he says. “They appreciate Carvertise for its ability to combine the perfect mix of OOH with digital, targeted and experiential marketing. That packs a punch that traditional OOH is simply unable to deliver.”

Star adds that personal injury lawyers “tell us that our branded cars are the most memorable OOH advertising medium they’ve ever seen.” And there’s data to back up their contention: Statistics from a 2019 Nielsen out-of-home study reveal that wrapped cars have proven to be the most effective and memorable form of OOH advertising. “That’s crucial to our PI partners, since high brand recall is vital to them,” Star adds.

The bottom line? “There’s been a seismic shift in the world of personal injury advertising,” he says, “and with the help of Carvertise, firms in Florida are leading the charge.”
