Branded Chauffeur service offers a ‘full sensory experience’ at conferences and events by offering free rides to conference VIPs in high-end wrapped vehicles

August 1, 2024—Carvertise, the nation’s largest rideshare advertising company, has unveiled Branded Chauffeur, a new high-end transportation service that delivers clients’ VIPs to and from conferences and events in wrapped vehicles showcasing their logos and marketing messages.
Carvertise kicked off its first official Branded Chauffeur activation on behalf of Visit Tampa Bay on July 15 at the Destinations International Convention in Tampa, deploying six luxury vehicles wrapped in Visit Tampa Bay’s colorful branding and offering free rides to multiple events, including a partner activation at the Florida Aquarium.

To elevate the experience, Carvertise customized the inside of the vehicles with a backseat car caddy featuring Visit Tampa Bay branded giveaways, including reef-safe sunscreen, bag tags, sunglasses and chapstick. The cars also included iPads with promotional videos; a specially-curated Spotify playlist; Visit Tampa Bay marketing guides; and blue, under-seat LED lighting to match the exterior branding on the cars. To ensure a seamless experience, Carvertise had client fulfillment specialists on-site to dispatch drivers and elevate the customer experience. Carvertise CEO Mac Macleod said the launch created “major buzz” at the conference as the attention-getting cars rolled through the streets of Tampa and transported guests in style. “By offering complimentary rides in custom-branded vehicles, we’re not just transporting attendees and VIPs — we’re delivering immersive brand experiences that leave a lasting impression and change how companies interact with their target audience at high-profile events,” he said.

Visit Tampa Bay CEO Santiago Corrada, who was an early adopter of Carverise’s wrapped-car campaigns, said Visit Tampa was “thrilled” to be the first in the travel industry to debut Branded Chauffeurs. “It’s been great to see the evolution of the product,” he said, noting that Visit Tampa Bay has partnered with Carvertise to run traditional wrapped-car campaigns and SWARM events in many cities throughout the United States. “With Branded Chauffeurs, people are not just focused on the outside of the car. It’s the driver’s knowledge of the destination, it’s the inside of the vehicle . . . We’ve always loved to push the envelope, and this is a great way to do that!”
As travel marketing continues to get more competitive, “Who just wants a billboard or a [traditional] out-of-home placement?” said Visit Tampa Bay CMO Patrick Harrison. “What really appealed to us was the fact that [Carvertise vehicles] are mobile billboards that can be anywhere you want them to.”
“Our clients’ VIPs aren’t just getting a ride – they’re getting a full sensory experience they’ll surely remember,” Macleod says.
In the future, Macleod says, he envisions Carvertise’s clients using the Branded Chauffeur service to transport VIPs to various events, from trade shows to concerts to sporting events. “We’re fielding a lot of inquiries,” he says. “But it’s an ideal solution for any marketer who wants to create a special moment for clients, stakeholders, and VIPs to travel around an event – and do so in an immersive, memorable way.”
