WGU’s School of Business wanted to put WGU on Chicago’s streets and campuses, building awareness across Chicagoland and reaching prospective students and their parents on everyday streets, on local college campuses and at the events where the city comes together.

We deployed 25 full-wrapped vehicles across Chicagoland for a nine-week flight, April through June. Campus SWARMS brought groups of wrapped cars to Wilbur Wright College, Joliet Junior College and the College of DuPage, and 13 SWARMS in all converged where prospective students and parents gather: education and marketing conferences, Cubs games, concerts, the Chicago 13.1 Half Marathon and Pride, 4 to 12 cars per event, campus to Wrigley.

The fleet delivered 18.4M+ impressions across 93,715 miles in nine weeks, verified by StreetMetrics. And the question started coming back from the street: “What’s WGU?” Students and parents started asking.
